Restless is a new breed of ‘social business’ communications consultancy.

We help clients make the cultural and structural changes required to deal with (and make the most of) the impact of social media across their entire business.

We provide consultancy, strategy, delivery, and training to help clients navigate the crossover space between PR & reputation management, social media, marketing, CRM, customer services and HR.

We work with clients direct, or in partnership with other agencies.

Chris Reed

Chris established Restless Communications after almost 20 years’ experience spanning consumer and corporate communications, both in-house (including for the BBC during September 11th), and for the last ten years within the Fishburn Hedges Group.

Ever since he started programming his ZX81, Chris has been fascinated by technology. He started blogging on a trip round the world in 2000, and hasn’t looked back since.

After several years leading integrated communications campaigns within the Fishburn Hedges Group, Chris established and led the agency’s Digital and Social Media teams, before setting up Brew, the digital marketing agency within the Group, and helping to start Seventy Seven Social.

In recent years Chris has been working with clients to dovetail their digital, traditional and customer service communications, particularly helping international businesses prepare for (and then deal with) social/traditional media crises, and training staff in social media best practice.

He has instigated and overseen successful social media campaigns with objectives ranging from marketing or publicity generation, through to customer-service and reputation-defending for clients ranging from ITV, to Eurostar.

He speaks regularly at PR and comms industry events, and on Sky News, and shouts a lot at Arsenal.

He still consults extensively for Fishburn Hedges, Brew, and Seventy Seven.
